Park Seo Joon diagnosed with COVID-19 with no major symptoms

South Korean actor Park Seon Jonn recently tested positive for COVID-19 after conducting a routine test on February 18. According to his agency Awesome ENT, the actor used a self-testing kit before leaving for work at a film set where his result came out positive. Following the report, he underwent a PCR test and confirmed his condition.

While the ‘What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim’ actor immediately isolated himself, he will be ending his quarantine on Friday. He has tested positive despite receiving double vaccination against the virus alongside a booster shot.

Currently, Park Seo Joon is recuperating with no major symptoms.

Soompi quoted the agency’s official statement, “As a preemptive measure, Park Seo Joon carried out tests using self-testing kits before moving to all his filming sets. Before proceeding to his scheduled activity last week, he tested positive using a self-testing kit, so after carrying out a PCR test, he ultimately received a positive test on February 19.”

“ (Park Seo Joon) has completed three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, and he has halted all scheduled activities since February 18 and is taking the necessary measures to quarantine and receive treatment in keeping with the guidelines set by government health authorities.He is currently in the recovery stage and has no special symptoms,” it added.

On the work front, Park Seo Joon is expected to start filming for his upcoming sports comedy drama ‘Dream’ co-starring IU. He also has Lee Byung Hun and Park Bo Young’s disaster thriller ‘Concrete Utopia’.

He was recently roped in the cast for Marvel Cinematic Universe’s upcoming ‘The Marvels’.
