Apple releases iOS 15.3 RC and iPadOS 15.3 RC

The iOS 15.3 Release Candidate and iPadOS 15.3 Release Candidate are now available to developers and public beta testers. Both RC builds were not expected so soon, at least not because Apple released the second beta last week with build numbers suggesting more beta builds. But surprisingly iOS 15.3 RC and iPadOS 15.3 RC are now available.
If you don’t know iOS 15.2 is no longer signed, it means you can’t downgrade to iOS 15.2. It doesn’t guarantee the next update earliest but it raises expectations. And same we expected after the news, iOS 15.3 Release Candidate and iPadOS 15.3 Release Candidate are available to users.
Along with iOS 15.3 RC and iPadOS 15.3 RC, Apple also releases watchOS 8.4 RC, tvOS 15.3 RC, and macOS Monterey 12.2 RC. Both iOS 15.3 RC and iPadOS 15.3 RC come with build number 19D49. The update size can be of many GB so make sure to use WiFi for the update.
The new update doesn’t bring as many features as iOS 15.2. It seems Apple is now focusing on stability and will keep new features reserved for the big iOS update. Talking about the changelog, it says only bug fixes and security updates.
iOS 15.3 RC and iPadOS 15.3 RC
Both iOS 15.3 Release Candidate and iPadOS 15.3 Release Candidate to developers as well as public beta testers. Now if you are running one of the iOS 15.3 betas on your iPhone, then you will receive the OTA update on your device. To manually check for the update, go to Settings > General > Software Update.
If you are on the latest iOS 15.2 public build and want to test the iOS 15.3 RC, then you will need to install the beta profile on your device. If you decide to install beta profile then after installing it, you can go to Settings > General > Software Update to install the latest iOS 15.3 RC or iPadOS 15.3 RC update on your iPhone or iPad.
