Yesterday, Xiaomi announced its newest MIUI custom skin – MIUI 13 in India. The company has also shared a detailed roadmap for the Indian market alongside the new features. Xiaomi is set to release MIUI 13 update to ten Xiaomi and Redmi phones in Q1 of 2022. The roadmap doesn’t have any Poco branded smartphones. Xiaomi plants the big update on Poco F3 GT with MIUI 13.0.0.10.SKJINXM version number. Poco F3 GT was unveiled last July with MIUI 12.5 based Android 11 OS. Now the device starts receiving its first major OS upgrade in the form of the MIUI 13.
The latest build bags January 2022 security patch alongside a bunch of new features. The update is already available to some users, below we’re attaching a screenshot shared by Rajesh Rajput (Tech YouTuber @iRaj_r), featuring MIUI 13 running on Poco F3 GT.
Moving to the changes, then Xiaomi is pushing the MIUI 13 update with features such as optimized file storage system, RAM optimization engine, processor priority optimization, extended battery life of up to 10%, new wallpapers, sidebar, and more.

If you’ve opted the Xiaomi’s pilot testing program, then you’ll get the MIUI 13 update on your Poco F3 GT. It will also be available to other users in the coming days. You can head over to the Settings then system updates to check out the new updates.
