As per the latest rumors and obvious update rollout history, the iOS 15.4 and iPadOS 15.4 public versions are expected to be available on the day of Apple’s march event which may take place on March 8. Apple has not officially mentioned the March event.
Along with iOS 15.4 Beta 4 and iPadOS 15.4 Beta 4, Apple also released macOS Monterey 12.3 Beta 4, watchOS 8.5 Beta 4, and tvOS 15.4 Beta 4. Talking about the build number both iOS 15.4 Beta 4 and iPadOS 15.4 Beta 4 comes with build number 19E5235a. The beta update size can vary as per the iPhone or iPad model you own.
Beta 4 comes with a new modem update which will fix the network and connectivity-related issues. The new beta also brings a new voice for Siri which is American English. It is available as Voice 5. With Beta 4, users can no longer disable Find My Safety Alerts. Apart from these changes, there are some bug fixes and new codes hinting at upcoming features.
iOS 15.4 Beta 4 and iPadOS 15.4 Beta 4 were first available to developers, but now it is also available to public testers. So if you are on the third beta or applied for the beta program recently, then you will get the update on your device. You can check for the update in Settings > General > Software Update. In case you haven’t installed the beta profile, but want to test the beta, then you will have to install the beta profile after applying on the Apple developer page.
As you can see the mentioned build number ends with a which means the next update could be the Release Candidate followed by the public release. The time perfectly matches with 8th March which is the expected date for Apple’s next event.
