Apple TV Channels (Streaming Apps)
[ad_1]
TV Channels is a feature that allows you to subscribe to streaming services directly from within Apple’s TV app. This feature comes with several benefits, such as the ability to easily add or remove subscriptions, and the billing is handled directly through Apple, so you don’t have to go to multiple sites and pay multiple bills, you can pay all the bills at one place. If you want to know about the complete list of supported channels, then here’s the updated list of Apple TV channels list.
The service was launched in April 2019, and Apple has been adding new channels to the TV Channels service. The purpose of this feature is to combine content from various third-party streaming services, and the iTunes Store and deliver it to you in one place (i.e., the Apple TV App).
Apple TV Channels are streaming services that you can subscribe to different TV channels and stream content from those channels directly from within the TV app. If you subscribe to this service, the billing for all your TV channel subscriptions is handled through Apple itself and the video is hosted by Apple. This means you can watch it right from the Apple TV app on your iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV without having to download multiple apps.
There are also other apps that integrate well with the TV app, but those are not the regular Apple TV Channels, so you will not able to stream content from those apps directly from within the Apple TV App. For example, content from Disney+ will appear in your “Up Next” queue, but you’ll be transferred to the Disney+ app to watch the content.
Since its initial launch, this feature has grown to include more content from a variety of genres and categories. Here is the current list of all available Channels across multiple regions. Almost all of them offer some sort of a 7-day free trial so that you can check those channels before deciding to put your money into those apps.
Even though the TV Channels feature is missing out on huge names like Netflix, and Disney+, it serves as a useful platform to combine your various streaming services. Now let’s move right into the list of Apple TV Channels aka Apple TV Streaming Services.
