Steps to Connect Multiple JBL Speakers Together

You need to know that only JBL Connect speakers can connect. If you have a JBL Speaker with PartyBoost and the other with JBL Connect or Connect Plus, you will not be able to pair them to each other and vice versa. You can pair any JBL Speaker to each other that has the same connection technologies.

  1. First, connect your mobile device or laptop to one JBL Bluetooth speaker.
  2. Now that the phone and one JBL speaker are connected, you will have to press the Connect, Connect Plus, or PartyBoost button.
  3. The speaker will play a small audio sound to indicate that the feature is now turned on.
  4. Now, on the second JBL speaker or multiple other speakers, power it up first.
  5. Once the speaker or speakers have powered up, you will simply need to press the Connect, Connect Plus, or PartyBoost button.
  6. These speakers will now automatically connect to the first source speaker.
  7. Once the connection is successful, you will be able to play music and listen to it on all of your similar generation JBL Bluetooth speakers.

Connect 2 Mix Generations of JBL Bluetooth Speakers

Now, we know that different generations of JBL Bluetooth speakers cannot connect. However, if your mobile device has a Bluetooth Setting called Dual Audio or Dual Mode. If your phone has this, you can connect two different JBL Speakers and get your audio output from both. However, you won’t be able to get the perfect Stereo surround sound.
