Apple releases iOS 15.3 and iPadOS 15.3 updates to the public. Yes, it is finally available for all eligible phones after some beta testing that started before the holidays. This time Apple released the update to the public right after the two betas. The update doesn’t really bring much in terms of changes. The iOS 15.3 Release Candidate and iPadOS 15.3 Release Candidate were released to developers and public beta testers last week. Release candidate builds are exactly the same as the public builds, and the same is the case with iOS 15.3 and iPadOS 15.3 updates. Both iOS 15.3 and iPadOS 15.3 come with build number 19D50. It weighs around 1GB, though it may vary per device. The new update comes with new features but brings important security updates. Both iOS 15.3 and iPadOS 15.3 are now available to all eligible devices. So if you are using a public update, you will receive iOS 15.3 and iPadOS 15.3 on your device via OTA update notification. In case you are using the iOS 15.3 Release Candidate then you will not receive the update as RC and Public build are the same. But if you want to switch to public build, you can remove the beta profile.
If you are on a stable iOS 15 and didn’t get the update, then you can manually check by going to Settings > General > Software Update. And there you can find the new update, if not then try changing Automatic updates settings.
