Samsung is testing Android 12 on Galaxy A51, A71, F62, and M32!

Since September last year, the South-Korean tech giant Samsung is working on pushing Android 12 based One UI 4.0 to eligible phones. Many phones have already received the new update, still, a big list of eligible phones are yet to get the new update. As per the official roadmap shared by Samsung, the Galaxy A51, Galaxy A71, and Galaxy F62 are slated to receive the update in April. Now the news comes out that testing is already underway for these phones.
According to the official timeline, the Galaxy A51, A71, and F62 will get the new update next month. But the new leak suggests that the company may release Android 12 for afore-listed models sooner than expected. A third-party app named, CheckFirm, confirms One UI 4.0 testing on the three phones. CheckFirm app allows you to check the information of upcoming firmware or official firmware of Galaxy devices. At the time of writing, we found firmware testing in the Indian region.
The new build was discovered on 4th March, decrypted by amin_zr. It is a major release tagged with a “C” release number and reported with an A515FXXU5FVB7 build number. While the Galaxy A71’s build was discovered by Samsung Cheater on 3rd March with A715FXXU8CVB6 build number. As it is a second major upgrade for two phones, is marked with a “C” build version.
Apart from the A-series phones, Samsung is also testing the update on Galaxy M32. Although, the phone is scheduled to get the update in June, still testing is underway for the last year’s Galaxy M-series phone. The firmware can be found with the M325FXXU4BVC1 software version. The mid-ranger Galaxy F62 will also get the new update very soon as the testing is underway for the F-series phone with the E625FDDU2BVA8 build number.
One UI 4.0 is a feature-packed custom skin bags features such as the new widgets, very smooth animations while opening and closing of apps, overhauled quick panel, automatic dark mode for wallpapers, icons, and illustrations, new charging animation, and much more.
We can expect all the afore-mentioned Galaxy phones will get the update later this month or early next month. You can head over to the Settings > Software updates, then check the new updates, once available.
