Earlier today, ETimes brought you a glimpse of the wedding preparations at the Kapoors’ Krishna Raj Bungalow in Pali Hill. The bungalow which is under redevelopment is now being lit up and sources close to the Kapoor family inform ETimes that Rishi Kapoor wanted Alia and Ranbir to get married in the same bungalow.

Although the bungalow is still under redevelopment, the family is working on the logistics to make it happen. While Ranbir is busy fulfilling his work commitment, shooting for Luv Ranjan’s film with Shraddha Kapoor in the city, Alia is overseeing the wedding arrangements.

As confirmed by the Bhatt family members, the wedding will be a 4-day affair between April 14-17. The banquet at RK’s Vastu house has been booked for 8 days. Reports suggest the couple has planned a grand reception for their industry folks at The Taj Mahal Palace. The who’s who of the tinsel town will mark their presence at the gala night and top guests on the list include Karan Johar, Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Rani Mukerji, Katrina Kaif among several others.

Reports also suggest Ranbir will host a party for his closest friends to celebrate his last days as an unmarried man. Bombay Times reported that the party is likely to be moved to the evening of April 16, where Ranbir and Alia will raise a toast to their marriage with their closest pals, a tight set of 50.
