Son Ye Jin and Jung Hae In starrer ‘Something In The Rain’ confirmed for an Indian remake

Popular South Korean Drama ‘Something In The Rain’ starring Jung Hae In and Son Ye Jin will be soon adapted into an Indian series. The original drama helmed by JTBC, premiered in 2018 with 16 episodes and became a hit among the audience.

According to reports, Pocket Aces who has series like ‘Little Things’ under credit, has bought the remake rights of the Korean drama. Confirming the development, JTBC released a statement, “We have recently confirmed the production of an Indian remake of Something In the Rain with Pocket Aces, India’s largest digital entertainment company.”

For the unversed, ‘Something In The Rain’, also known as ‘Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food’ revolves around a woman in her 30s who falls for her best friend’s younger brother. The series touches upon several issues ranging from dating taboos to career taboos as the lead struggle with their relationship against all odds, including their age difference, family rejection, workplace harassment and much more.

Meanwhile, fans are currently sharing their mixed reactions to the Indian remake on Twitter.
